TECHFORUM 22 - Smart Homes and Smart Cities

About TechForum:
Silicon Oasis TechForum is a networking platform for technology professionals, experts, academics, students and the general community to help capacity-building, technology entrepreneurship and innovation in Dubai

Cities are facing great challenges including: environmental, transport, energy, water, services integration, governance, communication, and many others.
In line with these challenges, we are pleased to highlight during this quarter’s topics on smart cities. Commencing with a keynote introduction given by Intel on the topic of “Smart Homes Away from Home”, the forum will also include a Design Thinking workshop, allowing participants to get engaged in developing conceptual solutions for challenges that are facing major cities today.
The workshop will be highly engaging and interactive with participants divided into groups to attempt to find creative and realistic solutions. Groups will also have the chance to present their ideas and the winning group will be recognized and who knows, your idea may even kick-start a new innovation.
Additionally; attendees will have the opportunity to tour the only Intel® Internet of Things Ignition Lab in the MENA region and view the latest solutions developed across different segments including Smart Home and Smart City.
